Hello. My name is Padraic Coyne. This is my blog. I used to run a site called Monscooch but now I run this site called ElPadraic. Woah, I’m awful at introductions. Like this one time, I was introduced to a mate’s new girlfriend and I ran away crying with no shirt on because new things scare me.
Those who have read my previous websites over the last 5 years may have noticed that I’ve dropped the whole Pedro Monscooch pseudonym (that means it’s a makey uppy name). This blog will be updated with random pop culture every week- Monday to Friday only because the internet closes on weekends.
The best way for me to give you and indication of what to expect from me and this blog, I’ve posted a little something that perfectly captures the inside of my head. Think of it as the blog’s manifesto but in music video format. Check it out after the break.
That was Apache by popular Danish singer, composer, organist, pianist and producer Tommy Seebach. Without this glorious song and drug-fueled video we wouldn’t have one of The Sugarhill Gangs’ biggest hits or one of the best TV moments ever courtesy of Will The Thrill and Boogaloo Shrimp. And for that, we should all be grateful.
You’re free! FREEEE!! How’s it going? Good luck with the new blog!
Thanks for the first comment on El P, Darragh. Everything is going great which is weird.
El Pedroooooooo! I mean Padraic. How’s it going?! Good to see you back on the interwebs
Ms Elicious! It’s been too long. I almost died in March because I didn’t know better but I’m back. Darragh and yourself are some of the only bloggers I’ve yet to meet and that must be fixed. At least it’s out in the open that I was lying when I said I look like Nacho Libre.
Finally, someone explaining themselves through the medium of interpretive dance!!!
Good to have you back compadre…
Look who’s back… back again… YAY!
Hopped over from Rick. Best of luck.
OT: I love how I can reply to individual comments now.
